What is an audition like?

Your child will meet individually with the conductor (parents are welcome to be present if your child choses). During the audition, your child will sing scales and match rhythms and pitch. Singers auditioning for Pro Musica will also sing a simple song and may be asked to sight-read.

How do I schedule an audition?

Why does my child have to audition?

The audition is an opportunity for the conductor to listen to your child sing in a one-on-one setting. This will help to determine which ensemble is the best placement for your child.
